2012 Homes

In 2012 First Story is building six new homes for low income families in Oregon and Washington.  The homes will be given to deserving families through our housing grant program through a 30-year no interest home loan and no down payment. Our homes will be located in the following communities:

Bend, Oregon

Redmond, Oregon
This year we will build our third home in partnership with Heart of Oregon Corps YouthBuild Program.   YouthBuild trainees will gain a valuable education, job training and leadership skills while helping us build this 1148 sqft, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home.

First Story is excited to build its second home in partnership with AmeriCorps Spokane YouthBuild Program in a new home community located in Airway Heights. The spirited neighborhood of Sunset Crossing offers small town charm just minutes from Spokane's vibrant downtown.  This home will by 1031 sqft, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2-car garage and a fully fenced and landscaped backyard.
